Hi, My friends. How are you? Hope everyone are ok in this situation.
These last months many of you asked me "How is going in Flapping Duck?." it's not good.
Since Thailand locked down ( Covid-19 ) in April untill now. We have no guests now or 2-3 guests in some month if we were lucky , and usually they stayed with us just a few days ,caught a flight back home.
I have been trying to negotiate with the landlords to be reasonable about the rent due to COVID-19, consider spreading payment over a period of time .The rent is about 4,000 Euros/month .Our room is cheap but the place is expensive. I'm struggling to keep it going, borrowing money from many friends.I dont want this place change hands to be 5 stars hotel
As you know Flapping duck is a Cheap guesthouse.We are not perfect.But We try our best to make everyone happy here. Make all about good memory, painting, music, talking, smiling, drinking smoking,cooking and as your secound home . If you want to help and support us 1 ,2 Euros or more.. whatever you can.But if you have no money ,Just share this topic to your friends .That's a very kind of you
Lastly, I'd like to thank all those whom support led to Flapping duck guesthouse ( almost 10 years ),All of you , my staffs, my friends . Thank you for listening, and I hope to see you all again. Never give up
