Fitness, Never a Fad. Always Forever.

Graduating from the University of Maine, I have pursued a degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in Business. Kinesiology, also know as Exercise Science, is the study of human movement. I became certified as a personal trainer while in high school, which allowed me to gain insight into this career path. Fitness is always changing and advancing; different workouts, group fitness classes, or equipment is constantly hitting the market. A lot of times people look towards fitness momentarily, to get to a specific place and then stop. Self preservation should never be seen as a fad, but recognized as a necessity in life. Hence my slogan: Fitness, never a fad, always forever.

My goal entails raising a total of $300 to purchase NSCA study material to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Using the knowledge I have gained thus far, I want to build upon this solid foundation and take my knowledge to the next level. With this certification under my belt, I will be able to gain respect and recognition by athletes everywhere. In terms of leading individuals to their athletic goals, both safely and efficiently, I will be working with individuals who want to make the change and are ready to commit. Using positive motivation and encouragement along the way is priority. The individual, regardless of age, should always feel safe and empowered while taking the steps to achieving their goals. Please help me reach my educational goals, so I may help those in need reach their strength and conditioning goals!!!
