Fitness and Wellness Community Rehabilitation Clinic

My name is Brianna Myers, I am an aspiring physical therapy student with ambitions to operate a nonprofit rehabilitation clinic that serves anyone and everyone in need of rehabilitative services regardless of whether compensation can be made or not. This clinic will be mainly for those who are uninsured or under-insured medically. After I did research in school on this population, I found it striking how many individuals are impacted negatively because they cannot afford healthcare costs and their health being negatively affected by it. Whether a person has medical insurance or not my facility will treat unbiased and respectfully with quality care. My goal is to start this practice after I finish physical therapy school. Please support me and those in need of help, I would love to expand to occupational services, speech language pathology and pediatric specialty settings. This campaign has amazing potential to grow and expand across the nation and globe.

This nonprofit organization has manifested itself through my research at Moravian College, volunteer experience as an Emergency Medical Technician in New Jersey and entrepreneurship of helping those in need. Serving the under-served community and giving back to the community is what I want to concentrate with as a future healthcare clinician. I can see this campaign opening many rehabilitative missions trips, sponsoring of other pro-bono clinics and many more opportunities.
