Fit Mummy on a mission to inspire other mums and women to get moving, get fit and teach them that health, wellbeing and exercise is not a chore or something that is unobtainable because of your age or the fact that you lead a crazy, busy lifestyle. I've proven this to myself by taking on bodybuilding last year at age 34 (whilst working full time, being a mum and going through the breakup of an 18year relationship). I'm competing with girls nearly half my age in the bikini class and placed top 7 late last year in my first competition to qualify for nationals and then placed top 5 at nationals. I've just competed in my 3rd competition and came 3rd...getting better everytime! If you believe in yourself, anything is possible! But it starts with a little motivation, inspiration and belief that you can set out to achieve what may seem unachievable.
When 2015 rolled in, I gave myself a new challenge - inspire others to get fit and healthy and prove that age is simply just a number; circumstances in life (good and bad) are what you make of them and, not having the time to get fit and healthy is just an excuse. Hopefully I have inspired people around me with my fitness journey but my ultimate goal to help others and share the knowledge about food and health that I've learned through my fitness journey is through writing a cookbook and starting my own business creating beautiful, fresh and healthy food
Please help me bring this dream to life!
Thank you :)
