Campaign Story
I have been working super hard to get a new non-profit organization, Fit Futures of Michigan, up and running!
According to the National Survey of Children's Health (2017-18), 4.8 Million children aged 10-17 in the U.S. had obesity and more locally, 18.9% of children in Michigan were obese. IT'S TIME TO CHANGE THIS!
Fit Futures of Michigan is a non-profit organization fighting the rise in pediatric obesity. We help children build active lifestyles and develop a passion for exercise.
Fit Futures of Michigan's mission is to empower the children in our community, make fitness fun, and create a life-long passion for exercise and wellness. Qualified fitness professionals provide fitness classes and workshops that make fitness fun, along with education about nutrition and physical activity, and how these can contribute to their life-long health.
I am asking for donations to help cover the costs of getting up and running! This includes the costs of the website, the 501c3 application, program development, and insurance. Please help if you can - every little bit helps!
