Uganda just like any other country in the world is equally affected by CoronaVirus/Covid19 economically, Socially and physically.
With already a struggling economy,
Corruption,Gender imbalances,poverty, lack of Safe and Clean water, diseases, The spread of CoronaVirus has widen the already existing problems in the country especially in rural areas.
Uganda has experienced a Lockdown in abid to stop the spread of the Virus. People have been advised to stay home with no or little government incentive to sustain families with essentials. This has led to many people to refuse the #stayhome module because they have to look for food for their families throught this period leading to great exposure to COVID19 virus and security enforcement teams.
So we have decided to help the Elderly persons and children supply them with food, Soap to Wash hands and Sugar to keep them home without starving or dying of hunger in this period of lockdown .
Please help donate towards providing a 2 bars of soap, 10 KGS of maize floor, 5kgs of Sugar to over 100 Elderly homesteads. We are all into this together, let's fight CoronaVirus by practicing Social distancing and StayingHome. Your donations will save an elder woman, man or child from hunger and the spread of CoronaVirus.
