Campaign Story
Well, in case I didn't see ya, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight my fellow reader.
My name's Ivan and, you may have guessed, I'm from Russia. I'm a student on my second year and staying under the car for the upcoming years is my major. And my hobby. And my life. Kinda hard, but life.
I don't really want to complain about how bad is the situation with car parts and anything related to them due to exchange rate skyrocketing up due to political stuff, but here I am anyways. And I've got a dream.
The dream is to visit and participate in The Baikal Mile Ice Speed festival. To put it shortly- it's a combination of racing events held every winter on the east of lake Baikal.
And I have to rework my car to be ready for the event. Since getting from Vladivostok to Baikal and having the car sturdy enough is big of a task. And having the car to meet the regulations is crucial as well. Don't get me wrong, the biggest fear is already behind: I've got sponsors that will cover the trip itself, but not the preparations.
I'm trying to work it out myself but working, studying and living the life leaves my low income just enough to live the life, but not put money into my dream.
That's why I'm here. I'll still try to cover up the most of the costs like getting a car suitable for the event and most of its preparations, but something tells me that I won't be able to cover it all in time. And I'm calling for help. Even a buck may help me to build the dream car and to go in a journey I've ever dreamt of.
