First LGBT youth org and pride parade in Bacolod City

Greetings!

“Tribu Duag” was initiated by a group of young, passionate, and driven Negrosanons who wish to see a more inclusive and just society, with much support from HAPI Juniors. Founded on the 10th day of June 2019, it was created as a reaction to the lack of LGBTQIA++ rights activism in Negros Occidental and the need for a safe space for those from the third sex community. Our name reflects the unique, unlimited, “City of Smile” inclusivity and acceptance no matter of gender, race, religion, background, or any affiliation, for we believe everyone is capable of love and understanding.

We will be leading the first Pride month celebration and commemoration in Bacolod this year in partnership with Humanist Alliance Philippines, International. This will not only be the FIRST pride parade in four years in the city, but be the FIRST LGBTQIA++ Youth Organisation for those from Metro Bacolod and other municipalities in Negros Occidental.

We need help in terms of resources and monetary donations. Any contribution would be of great asistance to our cause. Tribu Duag hope for your utmost positive response!

As of now, we have submitted all our permits, with Councilor Jun Gamboa, Chairman of the Commission on Ways and Means, supporting our cause.
