First Community Radio for Kirinyaga People

Kirinyaga is a county in central Kenya. Despite been considered part of the larger Gikuyu speaking ethnic community. Kirinyaga people hold a distinct dialect only unique to them. The radio project will not only help promote and preserve this dialect but also act as a platform to discuss social-economic and local governance issues facing the community in a language they understand. We have already acquired the necessary equipment, your generous contributions will enable us to secure the frequency and legal broadcasting licenses.
