A fortnight prior to the tragic death of Danny Jones, Jones and Cougars Media Manager Joshua Chapman made a bet in regards to Josh's trademark perm following an away victory at the Newcastle Thunder.
This bet, set down by Jones, would see the perm be kept until the Cougars lost, however, following the devastating loss of Danny, the decision was made for the perm to be kept until the end of the season.
Should we reach the target of £1027, the amount of points Danny scored for the club, Josh will have the perm shaved off on the field at the final regular season home match against Hemel Stags on Sunday 13th September.

What happened to Danny is so sad. I am a doctor who has lived in Wales for 44 years and support strongly the need to do an echo cardiogram on all sports persons. I hope that you can raise a meaningful sum of money for his wife and children.
