Campaign Story
A lifelong community service member needs your help!! At around 3am last night Scott Craft was luckily not home when a fire began and quickly spread throughout the house he rents in Seaford Harbor. Thankfully, neighbors reacted quickly by getting his dog ‘Buddy’ out just in time before the house became fully involved with flames. Scott, an ex-chief and lifetime member of the Wantagh Fire Dept, lives his life helping others. All who know Scott knows that he would give anyone the shirt off his back & the last dollar in his wallet, which is unfortunately all this fire has left him with. Last night while talking to him in front of the house during the fire, he was not sad about losing everything he owned, but was sad about losing the sentimental items of his best friend & brother Craig who passed away suddenly a few months ago. Although money can never replace the sentimental items he lost, with your help he will at least be able to replace the necessities he needs to get back on his feet. Through tragedies like these our community always comes together, no amount is too small to help. Thank You.
