Fire Relief Fund for Dr. Charlotte Massey

On Saturday night, August 25th, 2012, Magpie Medicine, the clinic of Dr. Charlotte Massey, was completely destroyed by a fire. Fortunately, no one was physically hurt by the fire; however, the recovery from this event is likely to be long and challenging on many levels. The cause of the fire is yet unknown and is currently being investigated as arson. The fire and the destruction it caused has been both emotionally and financially devastating to Charlotte and her staff.

As close friends and colleagues of Dr. Charlotte Massey, we have created this donation site in an effort to support our dear friend during this difficult time. Many who have heard about the fire that destroyed Charlotte's clinic are asking how they can reach out and help. This donation site is our way of making it easy for those of you who would like to give to Charlotte.

This website was made by dear friends of Charlotte in an effort to ease this process of recovery.  For many of us in the giving profession, receiving can sometimes be more challenging than giving and it is always hard to ask for help when we know we can do it ourselves!  Charlotte is an amazing woman with incredible strength and capacity to give to the patients she cares for.  At the moment we have the chance, as Charlotte's community of family, friends and colleagues, to reach out and lend her a hand without her even needing to ask.  Whether it is $1.00 or $1,000.00, it doesn't matter, whatever you feel comfortable offering will be perfect and very much appreciated.  Thank you!
