My graduate thesis, “Taoid ken Ili: Sense of Place and Placemaking Processes in the City of Vigan” is on its final stage. It has already been defended by the graduate panel of my university to which it has passed.
However, after the revisions, I am tasked to proofread this more than 200-page manuscript and asked for an assistance from a professional, so it is presented and read well upon publishing.
Aside from this, some maps and photos are needed to be printed in colour to manifest the study’s “sense of place.” Hence, it shall incur additional cost of printing, which is a requirement for graduation.
Due to overwhelming expenses and debt that I have to bear aside from my studies, and the time constraint to which I need to submit my bound copies to the graduate office before the end of May, I need to look for additional alternatives.
I am hoping that through this study, it shall launch more researches about Philippine geography, cultural heritage and local history, and how people and places shape the development of our cities and towns, and how it can contribute to the well-being of the Bigueño residents, and the Filipinos as a whole.
With this, I am humbly asking for your help or assistance in pushing through printing and binding of my thesis, on its last leg before I march this upcoming June.
I truly appreciate your assistance in making my hard-earned dreams become a reality
