Finger loss

Hi All, I am fundraising on behalf of my mother although she isn't aware of this! Last year my mother lost her finger tip when the car door suddenly slammed with the wind and cut of her left index finger. First of all I am so proud of my mother for everything she has endured throughout this horrible experience. My mother has had a very traumatic experience and lost her self confidence and suffers with day to day tasks. She has had three surgeries to improve the movements in the joints but each surgery have shortened her finger further and have caused Carpel tunnel syndrome amongst many other issues. My mother wears a silicone prosthetic finger tip which is not great as it falls off and looks completely unatural. In my mother's most recent surgery she was informed at the last minute that the surgery would be carried out under local anaesthetic, my mother being very vulnerable felt as though she had no choice in the matter she was forced to listen to the sound of a drill shaving down her bone which has impacted her mental health, she suffers with anxiety and flash backs. I am just asking for small donations so my mother can have skin grafting the improve the tightness of her finger or a more permanent prosthetic finger.   This experience has really affected my mother and I just want to show my mother that she is still beautiful and can overcome this and learn to deal with this in the best way she can.   Thank you.
