Who is Methodist Children Home?

Methodist Children Home is an orphanage home that is set up by the Methodist Church to take care of children who are born out of wedlock and those who lost their parents at a young age. These underprivileged children ranged from as young as 2 years old to 16 years old before they are left to fend for themselves after secondary school.

Why we do we need to help Methodist Children Home?

One of the most important and practical help that we can offer to these children is the accessibility to quality and up to date education. Although the education in Malaysia is generally free, reference books and topical practises workbooks are not. These children will miss the most important thing in their lives but now we can help them by providing a one stop education solution platform where they are able to access up to date notes and thousands and thousands of exercises with ease. Given this opportunity, these children could develop practical skills and learn knowledge that would enable them to better their lives in the future.

How do we support these children?

The one stop education solution platform that the children can use is, i-LEARN Ace, which is a product developed by Sasbadi, the national publisher for text books, educational materials as endorsed by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia. This educational platform was developed to cater for children to have access to school books and school life.

By offering them this platform, we are giving them the a future defined by themselves. Education is their birth right and this right and privilege shouldn’t be revoked by their natural circumstances.

The orphanage will require at least 11 portals for students between the age of 12 and 16 and also their teachers.

Each portal costs RM363 for a one year subscription. Therefore, we would like to invite you to be a part of this incredible life changing journey for these orphans
