Finding Heaven

This film is close to my heart. I lost my cat, Simba, last year after a brief illness. He was my friend, my buddy for close to 18 years, but his death hit me hard for months and even to this today.  This documentary will chart my journey of grief, recovery and new-found discovery of spirituality.  Millions of people around the world also have loved and lost their pet. My film will interview pet owners and what their pets have meant to them, interview grieving pet owners and follow me as I seek spiritual answers to age-old questions and interview relevant people in this field.

This funding will help me provider better sound and lighting, travel and expenses for interviews,  as well as provide me the money to pay to pay for key advisors and getting a make-up person for the on-camera interviews.

Finding professional crew is also expensive. I would like to hire a second camera person to document me as I journey, interviewing cat owners and other relevant people, both religious and nonreligious.
