Financing for Farming Startup

Good afternoon, My Name is Samuel Mwendwa, a father to a beautiful 2-year-old girl, and a husband. I am a degree holder in Information technology but unemployed.

Currently, in my country, there is a campaign going on, being run by Red Cross Kenya for well-wishers to help raise funds to help a large percentage of Kenyans being affected by severe drought. It is a traumatizing scenario for me to watch people die of hunger, and for a long time, I thought there is nothing I can do about it, But I chose to act, I chose to do my part, I just need help to start.

Bu financing my project, I will be able to till 100 acres of land (I have the land now) I will be able to acquire the necessary equipment to help achieve 100% potential of the land, I will be able to provide employment to about 200 locals and be able to start small scale food production of about 6000 bags of maize and 2000 bags of beans per year. to me, this would be a decent start

I am looking for 50,000 USD to help me kickstart my project.
With the 50,000, I have planned to purchase 2 second hand tractors at 30000, Plough and harrow at 2000USD, cereals seeds (maize & Beans) 3000USD. I have budgeted USD 15000 for labor for 1 year, Storage for farm produce is budgeted at 6000 USD and 4000 will be set aside for equipment maintenance and emergencies.

If I am able to get the full financing, I am guaranteed of smooth running of the farm, I am guaranteed of getting results good enough that I can influence at least 10 people of my age group to undertake similar projects and in a few years we can help my country achieve food security independent of government influences.
If however in am not able to get the full funding, depending with the funding I receive, I can chose to reduce the number of equipment, I could reduce the size of land i wish to work on or I could Hire farm equipment instead of buying them. I am sure I will get full funding for my project.

My priority in this project is to achieve food security for my country, I however know I can't achieve that by myself. But I can lead by example, I can show just 10 people that it is doable and the can show 10 people, and so on, in no time, we will be able to produce enough food for my country, we will be able to provide employment to thousands of unemployed people, I, Personally, will be able to avoid hearing of people dying of hunger, children starving to death, I, with your gracious help, will be able to make a difference. Please help me make a change.

I have been rented land for farming, I love farming, I used to do small scale horticultural farming after I cleared high school and before joining college. My greatest challenge in undertaking this project is finances. Without finances, I won't be able to utilize the land fully, anything else is tied to finances. I have had challenges with government financing because of several factors:

1. I would get financing in form of a loan, I would need to provide some kind of security for the loan offered, which I don't have.

2. I will lose at least 20% of loans offered to bribes or other corruption related channels.

3. Any produce will have to be purchased by relevant government institutions at a set price, which is usually 40% lower.
