Financial support for my daughter’s medical treatment and procedures

Our daughter Sophia Scarlet Tavas Abitria, pre-term, delivered via emergency caesarean section for non-reassuring fetal status at 30 2/7 weeks of age of gestation.

Since she was born pre-mature she is currently admitted in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of The Medical City hospital for monitoring and observation.

Our daughter have undergone medications and other treatment procedures below:

• Hooked to oxygen support via nasal cannula
• Inserted UVC
• Hooked to IVF D10 water/D5W 100
• Given Ampicillin 250mg/vial
• Given Cefotaxime 500mg/vial
• Underwent endotracheal intubation
• Given intratracheal surfactant theraphy
• Extubated and was hooked to RAM cannula
• Given nebulization
• Given Vitamin K and mechanical ventilation
• Inserted OGT

There are still other medications and treatment procedures to be done based on the Doctor’s advice and current status of our baby.

These said medications and treatment procedures cost approximately PhP40,000 (US $779) to PhP80,000 (US $1,558) per day.

Based on the status of our daughter, she needs to be in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for around 60 days.

Our family have been doing everything to come up with the funds needed. We are currently looking for possible loans, medical assistance program of government agencies, etc.

But as of the moment we are still short in terms of paying the medical expenses.

We are sincerely asking some financial assistance for her medications and other medical treatment procedures. If your situation does not permit financial help, PRAYERS are as needed.
