Hi!

I’m Bernadette. I am 29 years old. I have been working to achieve my dreams and support my family. I am most content with my simple life until I was diagnosed of breast cancer. Many things have changed since then, and my life temporarily stopped. I became depressed since they have taken away my left breast and told me to undergo chemotherapy, which would cost us a large amount of money that we could not afford. Hence, my parents and I had to squeeze our small salaries for my daily supply of food and supplements, and laboratory tests and hospital dues, which are all expensive. The piling of bills continues to arrive every month. I recently found out that I ran out of leaves at work, and as much as I want to handle all of the things myself, I can no longer do that until my treatment ends.

I am very lucky that I even made it this far despite of all the problems that I am facing. I am still alive and I have completed one cycle of chemo. This accomplishment is because of the people who have helped me during such hard times. I am indebted to all of them.

I am a type of person who wants to solve all my problems by myself and I am really shy to ask for anyone’s help. But right now, I am asking for your help in my journey to being cancer-free. Any amount will do and it will help me withstand my financial problems during my treatments. With your help, I can continue my journey and achieve my dreams. Thank you!
