Financial and Medical Assistance for Marion Salvosa

I am Paula Salvosa, a preacher, a missionary pastor and a Theology student at the Asian Theological Seminary.

In 2016, I entered the seminary as a response to the call of God. I realized that God wants to use me in the lives of young people—to disciple them and help them fulfil His purpose in their lives. I believe that I am also being used by God to contribute to the raising the awareness for mental health, and also equip the Christian community in offering hope for individuals with mental health struggles. My journey in the seminary has been about allowing myself to be trained and equipped for what God is calling me to do.

At present, I live with my father, who has been retired since 2010. Between the two of us, only I have work. I used to work as a youth pastor of a small youth group in Bulacan, allowing me to receive love gifts from preaching and talks. I've gracefully parted ways with Unify though to launch MindLove Movement—an organization, a platform for mental heath advocates towards fostering a culture of holistic care for people with psycho-emotional needs and challenges.

However, these are not so regular. Because of this, plus my full-time status in ATS as a student, it has been challenging financially, especially in times of family emergencies. Having said that, last year, my father has been diagnosed with severe calcific aortic stenosis with aortic regurgitation and just last December 2019, he underwent coronary angiogram and two major open-heart surgery—coronary artery bypass graft and aortic valve replacement. The operation was successful, praise God! However, we still need to settle our balance of Php350,000.00 with Philippine Heart Center which I personally as a missionary pastor cannot sustain. After the surgery, we would still be needing funds for his maintenance medication and monthly check-ups. We are believing God for His provision.

In light of this, I would like to humbly ask for your support during this time that we are raising funds for his medical assistance. We are hoping and praying that you would consider partnering with the Lord in this and thus be a channel of His blessing.
