Our mother, Flordeliza Ongoco-Boniquit, was diagnosed with Posterior fossa brain tumor with mild hydrocephalus last August and currently under observation/monitoring.
As advised by her Neurosurgeon, she needs to undergo open surgery (Ventriculostomy with brain tumor extraction) and will cost around Php1M. During the medical clearance, it was found that she have a Pneumonia, Sepsis and Pulmonary Embolism.
Currently, she's on mechanical ventilator due to low oxygen supply and under monitoring on ICU for her vitals to stabilize.
We expect that it will spend Php150-200K/day due to her medication and ICU services to stabilize her vitals.
As of 10/19, our current running bill is at Php755,000, which is outside the operation cost, hence, we're continuously looking for ways to fund the hospital bill and medication.
UPDATES: as of Oct 21, Mama is still in ICU recovering/healing from Pneumonia/Sepsis/Pulmonary Embolism and our current running bill is at Php887,000.
She is a housewife and a good mother. She was known to be a kind and generous person by her friends and relatives.
