The recent eruption of Taal Volcano caused the locals to evacuate the nearby area, and with that comes a need for help for their supplies and eventual . From the most recent update according to a member of the Philippine League of Secretaries to the Sanggunian in Batangas, there are currently 10036 evacuees in Bauan (a municipality in the aforementioned area).

The funds collected will be for these evacuees and will be an on-going fundraiser considering that they will likely need long-term aid since this is an extremely dangerous natural disaster, and that Taal volcano may continue to erupt for extended periods of time.

I am a concerned SHS student from Taytay, Rizal and my mother is a government official who is affiliated with the mayor of Batangas, hence why I was inspired to take initiative in starting a fundraiser for the thousands of evacuees. The funds will be directed to my mother's account and will then be forwarded to the local government. Hopefully, the collective funds from here will be a big help to the affected families!
