Financial Assistance

Hi Everyone. I cannot believe that i'm writing this to ask for financial assistance for my Sister. This has been an unfortunate event that is happening to our lives. My sister Janet Estacio underwent bypass surgery last March 2023. She's been in the ICU for more than 30 days because of complications after the surgery. She got pneumonia and was on extensive medication since then. We have spend so much during her hospitalization. Thus, we now need financial support.

She was discharged from the hospital after 40 days and after almost a month she was sent back to the emergency and was again admitted to the ICU due to her pneumonia coz she was having a difficulty breathing and was later on found out that she has asthma so they put her on steroid medications after which somehow she felt okay and after more than a week she was discharged and continue medication at home.

Come after 2 weeks, she experienced difficulty in breathing and was later on found out that her tracheostomy surgery didn't heal good and was blocking her windpipe resulting to her having difficulty breathing again. So, they need to open up again and insert a cannula but the thing is her trachea can no longer fit the cannula. Thus, need an specialist to do the surgery. We were referred to an specialist in Lung Center in Manila who can do the special case surgery and from discharging her to the hospital we hired an ambulance for her admission to Lung center. She underwent another surgery and again our bill was enormous and resort to asking for loans from our friends to have my sister discharged.

After a week of discharged, she again suffered difficulty in breathing and had no choice to sent her to emergency in Lung center via ambulance. It was found out that her heart was in no good because of her pneumonia and infections. Now we are here at Lung center and they are still monitoring my sister's condition. We are humbly asking for any financial assistance to help my sister with our hospital expenses. Her Philhealth was already exhausted and she doesn't have any medical insurance. Right now as of date she had undergone 4x bronchoscopy which was done last week and now was again admitted to the hospital after 2 days discharged again for difficulty breathing and again Doctors are saying another bronchoscopy operation. My sister was having trauma for how may operations done to her.

We started a funding campaign to help alleviate some of the financial burden of our sister's medical expenses. Our goal is to raise funds to cover the cost of her treatment and ensure that she receives the best possible care during this difficult time. We know that we are not alone in this fight, and we are grateful for any support that we can get from our community.
