Mangngagas (Faith Healer) a short film that me and my team recently produced

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to get to know my aspirations in life. I'm here to make an impossible dream of getting into Film School as a Possible and Achievable One.

I'm Brenan Rose Minong the second child among my four siblings and currently we are living in the Philippines. Growing up in the family I was fond of singing because through it you could impart a message and touch someone's heart in so many ways. Through the lyrics you could create a story or situation and then add up the melody. It's just like in film where in you hear the actors and actresses say their dialogues. Then when you add it up,it contributes to the over all message from the emotions, actions, and lines that they portray. It fuels how much I aim to to venture in film because I want to touch the lives of everyone who watches it.

Then come my college years now, I'm a communication major at Saint Louis University who aspires to venture in the Film Industry. It started when I was able to write my first story in script writing, there I was able to share my ideas and inspire people through life stories. To be able to share a story that could give someone hope, inspire to dream and maybe make them laugh or cry. The beauty of creating a story that could come to life and affect a person in so many ways. Later on, it gave me the passion to create stories and one day produce more of them.

Through my passion for writing scripts, production design, and editing, I aim to produce films that will cater to advocating change for the betterment of the society. For the betterment of the society through creating films that will change the common notions about a country's culture, ethnicity, race, and value. Sometimes because of those common judgments it hinders an individual to have an equal chance at life. Through my stories I want to feature every individual in the society so that we could get a glimpse and deep understanding of his / her unique culture. So that one day we might have a society that welcomes acceptance and opportunity for everyone when it comes to education, career, and opinions that should be heard.

That's why it became my main influence in pursuing film because I want to be a catalyst for change. I seek to polish my skills so that I could produce films that will impact on alleviating the stereotypes within a certain race, and culture.

To continue my dream, I applied to different film schools and got accepted at Rome International Film School. Unfortunately, due to financial matters my family cannot afford to fund my tuition fee. I really want to persevere in the industry to make a difference in the world by creating films that will advocate change for the betterment of the world

I'm turning here in hopes of making the impossible a Possible one. I'm asking for your help in hopes of achieving a dream despite the financial matters that's holding back someone like me.

When the fund raising campaign is achieved, I pledge to be a representative of everyone who dreams big and will persevere in honing my skills. So that I could help out the society by creating film stories that will feature the value of every individual's culture, entity ,and race , and religion.
