FILM LAUNCH/PRODUCTION

We are Code Sanaa Arts Group; a collaboration of young and talented individuals mainly from the slums of Mathare, Nairobi-Kenya . We were established in the year 2013 and registered with the government of Kenya as a Self Help Group. Our passion is in Art, Music, Plays, Spoken Word and Poetry; which our group's livelihood depends on. Lately we shot our first feature film in January, 2018 and working towards its launch and consequent performances to market our various talents.

We lack the finances to see this beautiful dream come to reality, grappled with deficits from the film shoot as we had to fund it from our personal savings; which were not enough. We are kindly asking for funds, whatever the amount to enable us;

1. Pay for fees associated with shooting films to the Kenya Film Classification Board

2. Pay our debtors; including the film crew who we sourced externally and came on goodwill.

3. Plan and fund our Film launch, which we anticipate to be showcased during the Easter holiday

By supporting our cause, you'll have given a young man/woman a chance to expose their talents and probably create a job opportunity as well as curb social vices that would otherwise be our way of life.
