Filip and his bike

I got my current bike 10 years ago, and since then, my bike got really used and old, so much that I cannot use it for safety reasons. But I like cycling! I used my bike every day when commuting to work, I use it after work for a 20-30 km ride home (I choose a longer route to exercise), and during the weekend and annual leave I like to explore my country and travel in the combination of train and bike. But my current old bike is unsafe, there are so many things that should be replaced that there is no sense in doing it as suggested by a worker in a bike repair shop.

Thus, I need to buy a new bike in order to continue to commute to work and exercise during the weekend and/or after the job. When you are a recent graduate, especially in a country like Croatia, you do not get a high salary which can support you to buy something that cost so much (yeah, 400€ is really a lot for me because I still cannot buy anything in installments), therefore, I do not want some fancy expensive bike, just a regular one which is of such quality that allows me long-distance trips and everyday city commuting.

I would really appreciate your help and support in this cause. Please, give me some suggestions on how to use a bike even more efficiently and give me ideas on where should I make my first longer-distance trip with the new bike 🙂 Thank you!
