Filbert’s Cancer treatment

Hi everyone! I created this page to ask for any help possible from other kind souls out there, to help raise some much-needed funds for my husband ongoing chemo therapy. Filbert Samonte or fil as he was known to his friends and family, is a former Enthusiast Tattoo Artist group. We have two children aged 11 and 4. As some of you may know, my husband was recently diagnosed with non- Hodgkin lymphoma stage 3. After several tests, scans, MIR and biopsy, my husband finally went through his first cycle of chemo last July 10, 2018, through the help and generosity of some relatives and friends. My husband needs to complete 5 more cycles of chemo therapy. Unfortunately, the medical expenses to come, along with treatments, and further tests have already taken a massive toll on our resources and because I just gave up my work to fully focus on taking care of my husband and kids, plus my husband will not be fully operational for work, it’ll be an even tougher road ahead for my kids and I in the next months and year to come. Each session of his chemo therapy costs Php130,000. His chemo therapy cycle is every 21 days. His chance of survival depends so much on this treatment. It has been a very difficult situation to our family especially for our 2 kids seeing their dad becoming feeble. It’s difficult to believe this is now our reality, happening to the kindest and most gentles man I know. We’ve gone through the first one, and I know with your financial aid and support we will get through this battle.
