Help Natalie Fight for Her Life

Update posted by Christian Mata On Mar 24, 2017

It pains us deeply to tell you that our courageous daughter passed away last March 17, at 39 days old, and was laid to rest yesterday, March 23. Natalie Enid fought a good fight, but now she sleeps eternally and forever will be our angel up above watching us here on earth. We thank you for all your support. We will continue to leave this campaign open until it expires in the hope to still raise some funds to help us cover our daughter's medical bills. God bless you all.

Complications have contributed to Natalie's slow progress (pneumonia, platelet count drops, bleeding in the brain, and possible liver function problem). All of which prevents us from giving her the nutrition she needs to grow so that the organs can move into her abdomen faster. This slow progression also adds exponentially to our overall medical bills with stands now at Php 1.5 million (approx. $30,000). Our target was $40,000 however it seems clearer now that it will not be enough so we have to raise the target to $60,000, hoping that in the coming month her condition will be more manageable both medically and financially. We hope that you continue to support us by promoting this page to anyone willing to help us get through this ordeal.

Natalie now has pneumonia which complicates her road to recovery and is more dependent now on the ventilator. Additional antibiotics have been given to address this. Another complication is that her platelets continues to go down, it was discovered that bleeding was present in her brain--which could lead to seizures. Platelet concentrates have been continuously given in the hope to improve it. All of which have skyrocketed our medical bills. We hope that with your prayers and kindness we can manage to finance this up to Natalie's full recovery.
