Campaign Story
This is my cousin Violet Guevara, 7 y/o and was diagnosed with RHD last October 2018.
Rheumatic heart disease (RHD) is damage to one or more heart valves that remains after an episode of acute rheumatic fever (ARF) is resolved. It is caused by an episode or recurrent episodes of ARF, where the heart has become inflamed.
When valves have been damaged by RHD they cannot open and close normally, causing blood to move in the wrong direction.
Last October 2018, She suffered from sudden weight loss, body weakness and chest discomfort. That's why we admit her to hospital in Naga (Bicol Medical Center) for observation.
I made this fundraising to ask for medical financial assistance for her to attend her Medical check ups, treatment and to sustain her maintenance Cardio meds.
