Our little warriors Baby Psalm and Baby Praise were born prematurely by 32 weeks old through emergency caesarian operation last September 17, 2018 and they are currently admitted at Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). With the complications of premature babies, both of our angels are inside an incubator that will keep them warm and safe from exposure to infection, allergens, or excessive noise or light levels that may cause harm to their tiny delicate body.

Baby (Boy) Psalm weighs 3.08lbs only and covered with fine hair and thin delicate skin. As we are anxiously waiting for his desired weight gain, several medical results revealed that both of his eyes were not fully develop and he has to stay longer inside the incubator for another series of medical examinations and development. I have seen Psalm fought so well since I lay my eyes on him, and he is continuously fighting to live in this world. Every day he continues to be strong and starts communicating by smiling whenever I try to speak with him. With your love and support, He will hopefully have a better tomorrow.

Baby (Girl) Praise weighs 3.52lbs has a more delicate condition and she already underwent to series of antibiotics and medical examinations. Her lower airways have just started to develop, so she is intubated and her breathing is assisted by mechanical ventilator. Praise still needs respiratory support for quite some time before she can be able to breathe on her own. On Oct 08, 2018, she was transferred to an ISOLATION ROOM for careful monitoring and test as the doctors found out that she has an unknown organism. The doctors told us that it will only be temporary but the cost of an overnight stay in the isolation room is very steep.

As day goes by, I am amazed and in awe of how positive and brave my twins fought throughout their lives inside the incubators. The Neonatal Doctors told me that it was a good sign that in spite of all the complications my twins started to feed. I am also given a chance to held Praise for the first time while she was inside the incubator with her respiratory support. And as I reach out for her hand, I told her that she can go home to Jesus if she really cannot endure her situations but surprisingly she responded with a gentle press on my hand and flashes tiny smiles at me. From that moment, I have decided to fight and do everything, with the help of God, to save my babies.

As their mother, I am humbly knocking your generous hearts to fight with us by being financial warriors for my babies. We have already asked help from local government and non-government agencies like PCSO, but unfortunately it is not enough to cover the medical expenses for my twins. The sum of hospital bills incurred was overwhelming for us that we had spent more than we had to keep my twin’s medical treatment current. Even I was also on my 27th-day of confinement in the same hospital.

I know my faith is bigger than my fears. The prayers and emotional support that we are getting is what keeps us going. Baby Psalm and Praise is fighting for their lives and they deserve all the chances to survive and enjoy the beauty of this world. Only with your generosity, you can make this happen.

Any amount you can donate will greatly contribute to Baby Psalm and Baby Praise recovery. May God continue to bless you.
