Fighting Like a Grandma – Help Zeny Beat Cancer for her Apo (grandchild)

Zenaida Capule, known to her dear ones as “Zeny,” has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer on September 2011. She remained strong and healthy after mastectomy and a series of chemotherapy treatments for the past 6 years.

Between August and September 2018, at age 69, she had multiple trips to the hospital to treat different illnesses such as severe muscle pain, bloodshot eyes due to hypertension, facial paralysis (Bell’s palsy) and the most recent and dangerous one - pneumonia.

The infection that hit her was very strong and has compromised her immune system, that it persists given the strongest dose of antibiotics. This has prolonged her stay in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with mechanical ventilation.

It was also found that cancer (now at Stage 4) has spread to different parts of her body including the brain, bones and lungs.

Our family is humbly knocking at your kind hearts to help fund the medication of my mother. She just had her very first “apo” (grandchild) 3 months ago, whom she has prayed for to hold and take care of.

All funds raised will go directly to medical costs and procedures to continue (and hopefully win) the fight against cancer.
