Fighting for Leela

I am trying to help my sister raise money to fight for her legal rights that the Safe Children's coalitions has taken away from her.

My sister was given custody of her granddaughter ( I will call the Baby) almost two years ago. My sister and her husband have taken care of the baby as if it was their own, they have loved her, bathed her loved her when she didn't feel good , took her to the Doctors when she was sick and treated her as their own, only to have her taken away without any notice from the safe children's coalition. I am not sure what this coalition is all about, but from what I have experienced is they do not return phone calls. My sister was letting the father see the baby trying to let him be somewhat involved in the baby's life. The paternity was in the middle of getting determined.

My sister let the father pick her up from the day care that she paid for and found on evening. When it was time for the father to bring the baby back to my sister , he never did. The coalition went behind my sister's back and helped the father take the baby and did not inform my sister of anything . They did not tell my sister that they were giving the father a temporary 6 month trial for custody, Nor did they inform my sister that the baby was not even going to come home that night. My sister was frantic and was trying to get in touch with someone to find out what was going on.

The father has had many run ins with the law including prison for about 5 years, he has been arrested for battery on a pregnant woman. He has been in an out of jail for many years. He also has children that he does not pay child support for or lives on his own, he lives with his mother. Now he has the baby that my sister is so desperately missing. He will not let her even see the baby. She can not even go on the grounds of the daycare that she paid for and found for the baby.

My sister and her husband did everything that the safe children's coalition requested including all drug testing ( as well as a hair follicle test ) which all have come back clean, mind you that they have still not shown my sister anything as to why the baby was taken and nothing said. The coalition has not even shown my sister any orders that the judge supposedly signed NOTHING!!!

My sister needs this money to help retain the Attorney to fight for her rights as a grandmother and to be treated as a human being not as what the coalitions has made her out to be.
