Fighting for education

Hi, my name is Jessica and I am 15 years old. I live with my mother in Cape Town. Last year I missed the first month of school because my mother did not have money to pay my outstanding fees until she got paid. This year I found out that my mother decided not to study so that I can go to school and not miss any days. I am afraid that next year she will still not be able to go back to university due to money. I have decided to start this fund to pay for her both of us to study next year. My mom is doing her last year and is doing a degree in Accounting. She has worked hard to get to this point and I would like to thank her for doing everything for me and my grandmother by helping her finish her studies.

I looked at my results this year and compared them to last year and noticed that the days I missed made a difference in my marks, I just would like to make sure that this never happens again and will do anything to help my mother out

The money raised will be used to pay for my mother’s studies for next year as well as one of her outstanding amount on the personal loan she had to take out for her second year. She could not get a study loan as she is working full time and is paying for her loan as well as our studies. I hope this will make a difference in her life and change things for both of us.
