My name is Kaiden, a simple men with full of passion and dreams from Malaysia. I've been working in Singapore for a year. Just by crossing a bridge, my new chapter of life begins. Malaysia and Singapore share the same value of cultures and traditions and both countries are like a coin, with faces of head and tail with its own set of rules and regulation independently.
I am a marathoner starting with the distance of 10k and progressively increase to 21k and lastly 42k. I knew it's time to move on to another level and apparently become an IRONMAN is my ultimate goal. With fear and anxiety, I took my ball action to registered for Singapore International Triathlon. The distance for my category is 1.5k swim, 36k bike, and 10k run. It's still far from IRONMAN distance 3.8k swim, 180k bike, and 42k run. It's been a tough time for me to make this transformation but i knew it will worth it in the end.
This fund-raising campaign is for my upcoming event Singapore International Triathlon on 10th September 2017 and future IRONMAN race. Triathlon is an expensive sport that requires basic equipment and accessories in order to qualify and long term practices is necessary. The cost for sports equipment is my biggest challenge where it holding me back.
Despite caught up with heavy work load daily, I have been sacrificed my sleeping time to practice during late night. I knew physical fitness and mentally perseverance play an important role for this challenge. As for now, obike is my only reachable and affordable option as my training bike.
With my low income and limited budget, my saving are insufficient to obtain a decent road bike. By counting down in less than one and a half months, it became even more challenging for me to source for an ideal bike for my training.
Please feel free to contact me if you have extra bike or equipment to spare or lend. I would truly appreciate for your helping hand.
