Campaign Story
Fighting Cancer is not yet Over.
My Mum, Jocelyn Uy, is a Friendly and Cheerful person. She dedicated her life for her children and grand children. She took my place when I wasn't with my kids and did all the responsibilities as a Mum/GrandMa for them. She is a super friendly person and very talkative as well. You'll never get bored when you're with her. All my friends became her friends as well.
My Mum was diagnosed ENDOMETRIAL CARCENOMA STAGE 4B last year August 2016. Check ups, laboratory tests and medication were done for the preparation of her operation. On the 6th of September 2016 was the day for an Endometrial Surgery. After hours in the operating room, blood transfusion was made because she lost lots of blood, but I can say that it was a successful operation for her. After that, she undergo 6 cycles of chemotherapy ( October 11, 2016 - March 21, 2017) and 28 sessions of radiation (April 19- May 26, 2017). She's preparing herself for the next step which is Brachytheraphy, but due to financial crisis, she couldn't continue it. The lab test were all good and well at first. We're so happy that all the therapy that has made was a success. But first week of August 2017, She felt something on her Left clavicle that is a lump and growing so fast. It's like a small marble at first and now November 2017, it's size like a tennis ball. She took Ct Scan and the result was not good. The liver was also damaged and lungs has a fibrosis. Her Oncologist suggested to take another chemotherapy to treat the cancer that metastasis to her Lungs and Liver. It was less than 50% chance that the cancer will heal. After 6 cycles of chemotherapy, 15 sessions of radiation will follow.
With her previous surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and medical needs, the money we have isn't enough to cover her medical needs. I made this fundraising for my mum to help her out for the medical bills and her expenses. I'm reaching your heart to humbly ask for your help in funding my mum's medical needs. Any amount will do and would be greatly appreciated.
