Fighting Cancer & Financial Woes.

Hi all kind hearted souls out there, my name is Eddy for short and this is the 2nd time I am using GoGetFunding to help myself to fight Cancer the 2nd time round, and my financial woes too. 3 years old odd ago, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Nasopharyngeal Cancer and went thru 33 sessions of Radiation treatments and 06 sessions of Chemotherapy treatments. Now 4 years odd later since, I was told by my doctor from the ENT department at National University Hospital Singapore, that my recent MRI scans showed theres development and growth in my nose region. It’s diagnosed as “Recurrent Squamous cell Carcinoma of the Nasopharynx” Stage 4. I was devastated and at a lost, as I already know whats coming my way and whats going to cost my family, the emotional burdens, the financial burdens .. etc. The reason why i decided to do this campaign, is hoping NOT to burden my family as much and most of all and unfortunately I am unemployed and can say with little to none in savings. Luckily, thru the first funding that I did, did raised a fair sum of money for my survival. However, there were bills and expenditures that are unavoidable. Therefore, the cash had been long used up and I had tried my best to save as much as I can. Before this diagnosis, I am already having issues paying my house mortgages and applying for jobs had been not fruitful. I had sold my house since as I am unable to sustain anymore and any further with payments. Luckily thru some kind hearted friends, who donated and tried to help as much, I was able to pull thru certain financial situations, however all or any help have limitations and I can’t expect friends or relatives to sacrifice for me all the time, thus the decision to seek help once again from GoGetFunding. Now I am currently living in a government rental flat, at the same time my treatments (Palliative Chemotheraphy/Treatments are still ongoing. I am currently suffering a lot of setbacks, due to effects of radiations and chemotherapies. Setbacks that are causing quite a harm to my current health issues, conditions and daily life. The setbacks are:-

1. My mouth is unable to open more than 1cm to 1.5cm. Thus, theres a lot of food I am unable to consume. My weight had since dropped tremendously.

2. Inside of my mouth, theres a big hole where the throat is. This is due to the collaspe of the soft palate. Swallowing of food is painful at times.

3. The right side of my face is having Chronic Numbness due to the cancerous tumour is “sitting” on some nerves as per my Oncolgist. When the numbness heightens, it will be very very painful. Due to Points 1 to 3, I am unable to converse properly and unable to talk on the phone anymore.

4. The right side of my ear, is suffering from Chronic Ear Infections. Doctors had declared to me that, they are unable to cure it. Thus, I have to endure and suffer pains daily. There will be ear discharges every few minutes, most times are yellowish liquid discharges but at times will be bloody discharges.

5. Due to Points 3 and 4, the pains will cause massive head pain on the right side of my head, and I had to rely on painkillers and nerve easing pills daily to get thru the day.

I am sincerely pleading for all the kind help i could get from here again, and no amount is too small to help. I don’t know what to say except a big THANK YOU to all kind donors. However, if you need to see my recent medical proofs from me (i could get it from my doctors), please do let me know as I always believe in honesty and that this campaign is no lie or scam.
