How serious is this coronavirus ?

The recently identified Novel Coronavirus 2019(2019 n-CoV), a cousin of the SARS virus, has infected thousands of people since the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. The virus has spread to a total of fifteen countries across four continents.

The new coronavirus outbreak in China is rapidly evolving and spreading. At the time this message is written, it has infected 39,590 people, killed 3,119 people, with an estimate of 90,933 people infected all over the world. The current novel coronavirus outbreak in in world has been developing into one of the most serious public health incidents in the world after SARS in 2003.

Health professionals across the world are, at very high risk of their own life, fighting it in the frontline under limited resources. Major hospitals in every country are requesting help from the community for various medical supplies. This has become a global emergency, and every poor person who can’t afford these medical supplies needs YOUR HELP.

We are starting this non-for-profit campaign fundraising for medical resources such as the N95 masks and surgical masks, to protect the health public as well as the professionals. We are currently contacting local hospitals/medical equipment suppliers to in order to fulfil the supply. All money raised from this campaign will be dedicated to the purchase of medical supplies and relevant logistics to fight this outbreak. These will be sent directly to Italy, Spain, South Korea, Iran, Germany, France and other countries who needs, the principal sites and cornerstone to fight the current outbreak.

How will your donation be used?

Donate to help the victims, doctors and nurses in the hospitals get sufficient medical supplies! They are fighting to protect all of us, and let’s give our support to protect them!

Due to merchandise availability, our volunteers will be making the purchase at their own expense to ensure we get the supplies, then the finance officer (Beneficiary of the campaign) will reimburse the amount as the invoices indicate. As a result, the withdrawal from the campaign will be going to our finance officer's own personal bank account.

Our Plan to get the campaign's donations to the intended recipients

Our volunteers are divided into multiple teams: Campaign Finance, Supply Acquisition, Appraisal, Transportation and Hospital Connection.

Campaign Finance team is responsible for handling all monetary payment and reimbursement for the purchase.

Supply Acquisition team will purchase the certified medical supplies from merchants all over the world through our alumni network after appraisal and assessment by Appraisal team. This makes sure that we are only purchasing those that meet the hospital requirements and standards.

Hospital Connection team will reach out to hospitals in all above listed counties and collect their requirements on the specific protective gears and quantity needed, while Transportation team will coordinate on the delivery of supplies from our warehouses to the hospitals.
