Fight On With Gabriel

Thank you so much for clicking and checking out my page for my son. We really need your help in my son’s battle with brain tumor.

As challenging as this year has been, Gabriel Vincent Sabedra, an 8 yr old boy from Bacolod City, Philippines, an only child, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor (Medulloblastoma).

Three months ago, he suffered from a loss of balance and unsteady gait. The increased frequency of his symptoms prompted consultation with a neurologist and were advised to have a brain MRI. The MRI examination showed a brain tumor, a Fourth Ventricular Mass in the Cerebellar Area with Secondary Obstructive Hydrocephalus. Gabriel Vincent was subsequently referred to a neurosurgeon for surgery and further management.

He underwent Suboccipital Craniectomy and debulking of the brain tumor last August 13, 2020, and then he was transferred to ICU and maintained on mechanical ventilation for almost two weeks.

Currently, Gabriel is still admitted in the ICU under strict monitoring, multiple daily medications, and NGT feeding. He needs chemotheraphy session and repeat MRI scans.

Being diagnosed with a brain tumor takes a toll on Gabriel and our family emotionally, physically, and financially. We are struggling with the medical bills and related costs as it quickly adding up. I am profoundly requesting you to extend any financial support towards the ongoing and further medical expenses of our dear son.

We are also humbly asking you to please extend your prayers for the healing and complete recovery of Gabriel. We are doing all the best that we can because our son is fighting, his doctors and nurses are doing the best they can, and most of all things are possible with God.
