Fight for my Papa Dencio’s Life

I am Jacq Dayag from the Philippines. I’m creating this GoGetFunding account for my father Dencio.

Papa Dencio has been a faithful servant to his community of Macarang for many years, where he has served as barangay kagawad, counselor to the barangay chairman, dedicating his life to bring positive change to his community. He dedicated his life to benevolently providing transport to those in need of it, as a barangay patrol driver.

On November 5, my father met with a vehicular accident, where he incurred severe head injuries and fractured his left arm. The doctors initially declared that he is in a very critical condition and not responding but by the grace of God my father clung to his life.

The following weeks have been an emotional roller coaster for our family, and my father continues to fight for his life every day. He underwent brain surgery on November 8 and while still recuperating, he developed Community-acquired pneumonia, infections and chemical burn on his left foot due to his strong medication.

On November 19, he was transferred to a private room but was rushed back to the ICU within 24 hours due to septic shock. He was no longer able to open his eyes and to move. By the grace of God and by the faith and constant prayers of our loved ones, he is slowly recovering.

Now, my father is getting ready to be discharged and we no longer able to support on our own the hospital bills.We are knocking on your kind hearts to help us fight for my Papa Dencio’s life and see my father fully recovered. We would greatly appreciate any assistance that you are willing to provide to help ease our family’s financial burden. The funds raised from this campaign will go directly to my father’s medical costs and ensure that he will be able to continue the necessary treatment for him to fully recover. He needs another operation for his left arm and undergo various therapies.
