Our mom has always been a fighter. Now she is facing the toughest battle of her life yet.
Mila, 63, is currently in the Intensive Care Unit battling pneumonia. She breathes through a tube attached blowing oxygen into her airways. Her condition is further complicated by her recurring tuberculosis and thalassemia, a rare, genetic blood disorder that makes it hard for her body to produce hemoglobin.
As the bacteria in her lungs have grown resistant to most antibiotics, healing has taken some time. Naturally, our hospital bill has been growing exponentially each day.
But this is a battle that needs to be won—by us, Mila's sons, for our mom. She wouldn't want it any other way.
As much as we need your prayers, we are knocking on your kind hearts to help us win this fight. Any amount will aid us greatly in funding treatment on our mom's road to recovery.
Thank you very much in advance, and may God shower you with blessings.
