I'm little but I'm fiesty! Having never fought anything other than a boxing bag for a good workout, I'm excited to take on a new challenge with a moving target in support of a great cause!

The 2019 Fight for Charity will be held at the RBC Convention Centre on the 27th of April and will feature:

 - 12 novice boxing matches

 - Casino gaming

 - Silent auction

 - Raffles

 - 50/50

We are proud to announce that the 2019 Fight for Charity event is in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg believe in the value and values of mentoring. For 50 years they have made a difference in the lives of young people. Bringing together children and youth with community volunteers, they believe every child who wants a mentor should receive one.

Children and youth facing adversity benefit from being introduced to a volunteer mentor to spend quality time with, talk about issues, and have fun. They rely on the support of the community to help over 650 young people every year who are struggling in life and need a healthy relationship; a positive influence.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg ensures strong matches are formed and supported to help children and youth become more confident, live healthy lifestyles, avoid bad life decisions, do better in school and get along better with family and friends.

Witnessing the transformation of a child into a confident, engaged and motivated young person is a remarkable thing. Ushering them into adulthood, seeing them grow into successful, responsible members of the community can be even more satisfying. For both the Big and Little, the experience often becomes a life changing relationship built on friendship, trust and empowerment.

Our fundraising goal for the 2019 event is $50,000. Please help us get there by donating anything you can to this worthy cause and sharing this page. Every dollar counts!!
