Fight for change:

Hi everyone, we are a group of college friends trying to raise funds for our friend Robert who is fighting for change and development in a rural community in Africa. We need your help to get Robert elected as member of parliament on august 2017 to bring change to Kiminini community in Kenya. For over 10 years, Robert has worked as a volunteer in this community, helping many families access basic needs. Although Robert has been unemployed himself like many young people in this community, he has persistently convinced small farming families to share their foodstocks with poor families living below the poverty line. He has also mobilized several clusters of families to join together in developing smallscale community infrastructure projects such as digging wells for water and creating rural access roads. Over 70% of Kiminini residents live in extreme poverty on less than half a dollar a day and lack the basic needs of food, water and decent shelter. Robert has led a spirited fight against corruption among local government leaders in Kiminini community for a long time who divert public resources for their own ends. We strongly believe that if elected as a parliamentary leader in this community, Robert's selfless and committed enthusiasm will win the fight against corruption and bring change to this community. To win this fight, Robert needs your financial contribution to fund his campaign. We only have two months left before the elections, our target is to raise $50,000 for Robert's campaign in three weeks. Please help us achieve this target and bring change to Kiminini.
