Fight Cancer with Cherry (Treatment for her)

Cherry has been fighting for almost 4 years now, Rectal Cancer. She was diagnosed Stage 3 last December 2013 after the devastating Supertyphoon Yolanda hit their town Ormoc. But with the strength she draw from our Almighty God, she was able to confidently stand up for life. She was reluctant to undergo the conventional treatment for cancer so she decided to refuse the treatment.

Eight (8) months after she was diagnosed, she found out that she was pregnant with her partner Lance who also did not leave her side against all odds. Her OB suggested not to continue pregnancy because of the risk that she will lose her life or she'll lose both of their lives (with baby). With the overwhelming faith and trust she has with the Lord, she pursued pregnancy. The pregnancy wasn't easy knowing cancer is still within here. She was in and out of the hospital due to persistent bleeding and has been in total bedrest. Fortunately she was able to deliver the baby prematurely through C-Section on April 22, 2015. The baby girl which she named Miracle Faith is brave like her.

After she gave birth with the baby, her health became severely poor that she really needed extensive medical attention. From June-July 2015, she underwent chemoradiation in Cebu. Although she and her partner had to travel long distance everyday and she was on a wheelchair, they finished the treatment. Her health somehow improved and she was able to walk again unassisted.

Following the conventional treatment (chemo, radiation, surgery) On December 2015 she then underwent the 5-hour long APR Abdominoperineal Resection Surgery and left her with a COLOSTOMY Bag for life. It took her almost 2 months to recover. Her CEA (cancer levels) went down.

Unfortunately on June 2016, her partner rushed her to the hospital due to persistent vomiting. It was because her cancer has spread immensely. With the hope of a cancer cure, she bravely underwent the 6 months post op chemotherapy through IV. Her CEA (cancer levels) went down again.

Yet this October 2017, she was devastated to know from the laboratory results with the confirmation from her Oncologist that her CEA went up enormously and has metastasized to her lungs.

She is currently in her stage 4. Her Oncologist strongly suggested that she has to undergo again with the chemo treatment. The conventional treatment was too painful for her that she searched for other treatments that is not too harmful for her. Fortunately, she discoverd Dr. Farrah Agustin-Bunch Medical Center for cancer that cures many even at the late stage (stage 4).
