Fight Cancer for My Sister

My sister, at a young age of 32, was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer last October 2016. In order to overcome this challenge, she had to undergo batteries of clinical tests and procedures like chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and brachytherapy.

For three months of continuous and rigorous treatment, I saw my sister gradually lose her physical strength. However, through it all, because of her two daughters, who serve as her inspiration and motivation to live on, her resolve and fighting spirit stayed strong.

After three months of treatment, my sister was scheduled for regular check-ups in order to monitor whether or not her body is responding positively. The first few check-ups showed promising results, until suddenly, on the latter part of March, she experienced pain at the left side of her lower abdomen, and her left leg started to swell. She, once again, need to go through another cycle of Chemotherapy and RT starting May of 2017.

After a few months of continues cycle, there was no progress or any change with regard to her condition. We decided to seek a 2nd opinion on how and what protocol/ management would be effective in easing her pain that will give us and her the hope and will to survive.However expenses involved in the treatment process weighed heavily on our family that it drained of our financial resources. On top of that includes medicines, medical procedures, and hospital bills, Blood Transfusion and a lot more. Because of these, we are humbly asking for your kind hearted help and support to meet the demands of the upcoming rounds of treatment.
