Fight Auto-immune Disease

Hello everyone, knocking on your good heart to help me, Help my mom. Im currently unemployed and my 2 brothers are the one funding my moms medication and recent hospitalization. My mom has been battling with an Auto-immune disease, for more than 20 years. Idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP), caused by the immune system mistakenly attacking and destroying platelets. the cause of this immune reaction is unknown. This causes her platelets to drop and affects her by having internal bleeding. Last Dec 2018 was the worst bleeding she had, she lost her hearing because her platelet drop to 0, it affected her nerves around her ear. We are still thankful that it didnt lead to comatose, this might be the worst thing that could happen if she continue to drop her platelet. At this time her platelet is at 10 which is way below normal of 150-450 and we are doing every possible medication to increase her platelet and avoid complications.She has been hospitalized twice in less than a month and has transfused 34 bags of platelet in total, but still her Platelet levels is below normal. Her doctor suggested Nplate medication to help increase and sustain her platelet and this cost Php187,000 per vial and she needs 2 vials for her current condition. She had splenectomy already and now all her medication are on high dose(steroids: this is to avoid internal bleeding) but these medicines are affecting other internal organs. Nplate is a man-made protein medicine used to treat low blood platelet counts in adults with chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), when certain other medicines, or surgery to remove your spleen, have not worked well enough.We want to try this last resort to sustain her platelet and save her life.
