Fibro-A-Go-Go

About Me:

Hello all! I'm a 28 year old woman with Fibromyalgia Syndrome. Fibro causes intense pain all throughout the body and is a chronic illness. There is no cure and very few treatment options available. Treatment involves lots of expensive medications that aren't gauranteed to work, and lots more expensive doctor visits to specialists. I've been living with Fibro since my teens and was officially diagnosd three years ago. Since then I have amassed over $40,000 dollars in medical bills. I'm not insured because my Fibro makes work impossible. Most days I have trouble getting out of bed and walking on my own. Fibro is still a contriversal thing in the medical community and as such getting support from doctors to file for disability is extremely difficult. 

What's Up:

I've lived with unexplained body pains my whole life, but I mostly pushed through them and managed to lead a normal live until three years ago. I lost my job and insurance and fell ill. I ended up with pnuemonia that went untreated until my body began to shut down and my doctors believe this is what triggered the flare up of my Fibro. Since then my entire life has changed. I moved states for a job opprotunity that I ended up losing because of the pnuemonia. I haven't been able to find work because of the pain and lack of mobility, and have been living for the past three years with friends who are allowing me to live rent free. I'm out of money, out of options, and out of hope. I'm so deep in medical debt that I can't continue seeing my doctors without any way to pay my outstanding bills.

What I Need and What I'll Do With It:

This means I'm not getting any kind of treatment, which means I have no chance of finding something that could help manage my pain enough that I could try to regain a normal iife and job. I've exhausted any and all public assitance resources, and my personal resources were gone long ago. I sold everything I own from my car to my clothes to my computer. I'm typing on this on a borrowed laptop, hoping that someone will find it in their hearts to make a donation and help me get out of debt so I can continue treatement and medication and hopefully get some small part of my life back. I'm not asking for the full amount, just enough to start making payments and continue treatments.
