Campaign Story
Our association have been longing or dream of ensuring safe crossing connectivity problem for more than 20 villagers who were crossing Barak rivers at every seasons to and fro from district head quarter. We are witnessing numerous innocent people who were drowned or occured accident and lost precious life's. Since Barak river is a boon for our district Tamenglong head quarter.
Still, our people were using wooden boat by cutting down huge trees which can last for maximum 5-8 years, and are very dangerous. Bamboo rafts were also made for temporary crossing the rivers which have a double impact to our society and environment as well.
Therefore, our association would like to construct a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) boat 30 numbers which is an environment friendly, and last for many years.
