I take this opportunity to engage all stakeholders through our basketball calendar, I kindly argue all of us together to take active role in making sure the FIBA Zone 5 National Championships for youth (U18) to take place in Dar ES Salaam, Tanzania from 17th - 22nd June,2018. With team about 12 teams from the Zone expecting to compete (i.e. Egypt, Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia , Somalia ,Djibout , Kenya , Uganda , Rwanda, Burundi and host Tanzania).
Winners (Boys & Girls) will have a ticket to represent respective countries at the continental championships in AfroBasket 2018 later end of the year.
With such an opportunity, Tanzania Basketball Federation kindly seeks for your precious contributions to faciliate our boys and girls teams preparations and camping logistics so as to make the event successful.
