Changing the routine, following the Dream!

The idea to start fundraising company came to me unexpectedly..

Last 2 years all my life was surrounded by different coffee events: from cup tasting and attending big exhibition dedicated to coffee culture and "the way of beans from green raw state to the cup" with seductive smell and taste. In October I passed courses "Roasting Foundation" organised by Specialty Coffee Association - it changed my vision of life..

The passion and willingness to improve skills, to make coffee everyday, to change routine captivated my head and heart!

How I see the implementation of coffee roasting project?

- to start roasting i need to buy coffee Roaster - the main expense i can't cover by myself. For the smallest machine with capacity 1kg, price starts 8000$ (produced in Turkey, European even more expensive);

- approximately the same amount i need to buy:

• Hario Drip Scale 2pcs - 120$;
• Hario v60 Buono - 100$;
• Coffee machine Nuova Simonelli Aurelia II - 3300$;
• Grinder Fiorenzato F83e - 800$;
• Water system Brita - 250$;
• Green coffee beans/milk/cups - 1000$;
• Software / crm-system - 2500$;
• Rental fee, bar counter, signboard - approx. 1500$.

Totally my costs are around 17.570$ - my savings let me cover only half, around 8500$. The rest of amount is an obstacle to my dream and goal.

A few words about concept:

It's must be small place for coffee to go with high quality (q-graders rate from 80) and small prices (not overpriced for some reasons - own roasting beans process and no additional costs for big sitting area, etc). The idea for coffee break was inspired by Swedish FIKA - the moment to enjoy life, taste, smell)

PS: due to my husband's job we move from one country to another every 2-3 years, quite difficult for me to find stable office position, but my dream is to work with coffee. Must admit, that small roaster machine and format "to go" is quite flexible in case we need to change place of living.
