Fellowship of the Wheel – 1700km Mtb

The Fellowship of the Wheel takes two friends on a 1700km journey through South Africa, with one goal:Raising funds for the Nomangezi Daycare Centre in Block Y, Soshanguve.

The centre is in dire need of repainting, carpeting, curtains, educational toys, landscaping of the exterior and upgrading of the ablution facilities.

How to get involved? Pledge on our distance we're cycling, be it 50c, R1 or more per kilometer we cover. We'll be covering the 1700 odd kilometers from the 21st of May to the 5th of June 2017. All proceeds go to the school, we're doing the trip on own cost.

The majority of the population in Soshanguve is severely disenfranchised, leading to both parents working far from home and in many instances with parents living away from home during the week. This leaves the children in the hands of their caregivers, who do not possess all the necessary tools to ensure healthy and positive education.

Educating our children is top priority, they are the leaders of the bright future that we all so desperately need!
